The Broncos cashed the board's mistake on Davis: C+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Broncos were there to profit. Isaiah Davis, the No. 155 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 203.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most. The Broncos clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

If JC Latham and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
