The phones sank the Cowboys this weekend: D-.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Barryn Sorrell at No. 249 is 79 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback. On value alone, Emmanwori makes the weekend a net positive.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.
