You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bills did exactly that with Eric O'Neill in No. 220. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

Lawson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The offensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the offensive lineman spot they never got to.
