Rocy2026 DRAFTING FOR THEBears

Draft Grade — Bears

Best value of the weekend goes to the Bears for Ramsey: B. The Bears spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Kamari Ramsey, the No. 65 name on the board, in the 89th pick. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Reaching for Gill-Howard left real value on the table behind him.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick25
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In slot 25 they get a downhill thumper at linebacker, and a steal at that. A real need, handled.
Pick57
Rnd2
Blake Miller
A straight-up fair deal on Blake Miller at the Round 2 slot, value and slot in agreement. It fills a real need, too.
Pick89
Rnd3
Kamari Ramsey
Kamari Ramsey at Round 3, Pick 25 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick129
Rnd4
Skyler Gill-Howard
A reach on Skyler Gill-Howard in pick 129; the board had better options right there. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick163
Rnd5
Louis Moore
Value with a capital V on Louis Moore in pick No. 163, a genuine coup. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
Pick239
Rnd7
Eli Heidenreich
No drama and no debate, Eli Heidenreich went about where he belonged in the 239th pick. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick241
Rnd7
Andre Fuller
Andre Fuller slipping to the 241st overall pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
