Draft Grade — Steelers
Overall

FutureB-
Nobody dealt better than the Steelers this weekend: B. The Garret Greenfield pick is the one that will follow the Steelers into the fall. They took him 42 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.
Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Adding Danielle Hunter by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.
Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick Analysis
Pick20
Rnd1
Amarius Mims
In the 20th overall pick they get an anchor for the offensive line. Need was not the driver here.
Pick51
Rnd2
Edgerrin Cooper
Edgerrin Cooper in No. 51 lands just on the right side of the ledger. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick59
Rnd2
Zach Frazier
They paid sticker price for Zach Frazier in pick 59, and that is fine. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
Pick84
Rnd3
Cade Stover
Fair-plus on Cade Stover, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. Pure best-available; the position was not exactly begging.
Pick98
Rnd3
Kamren Kinchens
Kamren Kinchens in the 98th pick is fair value, right on his grade. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
Pick119
Rnd4
Cam Hart
A tidy little value on Cam Hart in Round 4, Pick 19, a step better than break-even. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick178
Rnd6
Garret Greenfield
They left a pile of value on the table to take Garret Greenfield this early at No. 178. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
Pick188
Rnd6
Jalen Coker
The board had cheaper options than Jalen Coker at the Round 6 slot, and it noticed. A luxury on a unit that was already in good shape.
Pick195
Rnd6
KT Leveston
They liked KT Leveston enough to skip the value, taking him in slot 195. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
