Nobody else had Grayson Murphy anywhere near pick No. 123. The Bears did, by 51 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Just about everything broke right, and the A follows.

Getting Jackson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.
