A masterclass at the trade table lands the Bears a A-.

Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The veteran additions, Myles Garrett chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. Getting Williams where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
