Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Panthers spent Round 4, Pick 19 on Vincent Anthony Jr., a name most had 61 spots down the list. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
