Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Lions were there to profit. Miller Moss, the No. 196 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 222nd pick.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. If Greene III pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.
