The search is over. The Falcons handed the keys to Bo Nix, and the whole operation now runs on his development. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Mims. The cost of the McClellan reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The trade work was a quiet net positive.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
