The Cowboys answered their biggest question with Ward. Grade: D.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Cowboys did exactly that with KJ Jefferson in the 170th overall pick. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

The Skattebo steal is the beam this whole class leans on. So much rides on Cam Ward that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They will answer for taking safety early while cornerback and tight end went begging.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
