The Patriots got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C.

The Patriots bet big and early on Isaac TeSlaa, 152 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right.

Neal at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The Schwesinger pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback still on the board.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
