The Commanders went off the board in a big way for Reid Carrico, 77 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Azeez Al-Shaair gives the group a proven body among the projects. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
