The rest of the league had time to spare on Spencer Rattler; the Patriots did not wait, grabbing him 23 spots ahead at pick No. 68. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. The Ford pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Adding Dylan Parham by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
