ecarrington061 DRAFTING FOR THERams
Draft Grade — Rams
Overall
B-
ValueC
NeedA-
TradesB-
FutureB-
Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Rams. For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Rams walked out of the weekend still thin at running back, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.
The Moore pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick46
Rnd2
T.J. Moore
T.J. Moore at slot 46 is a conviction pick that outran the value. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick115
Rnd4
Josh Hoover
Josh Hoover at No. 115 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The roster fit checks out.
Pick152
Rnd5
Devin McCuin
Nothing to complain about; Devin McCuin went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick193
Rnd6
Zavier Mincey
They took Zavier Mincey at par in the 193rd overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
