Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall C+
ValueF NeedA- TradesB- FutureB-
Larceny in the Round 6 slot lands the Raiders a C+, Sharpe and all.

You build a draft on nights like this. Jamari Sharpe had no business being available in Round 6, Pick 20, and the Raiders did the only sane thing and turned in the card. The final tally is a middling C+.

The Umanmielen reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.

Pick Analysis
Pick20 Rnd1 Princewill Umanmielen
In the 20th pick they get a disruptor off the edge, a steep price for the projection. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick56 Rnd2 Boubacar Traore
Boubacar Traore at Round 2, Pick 24 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick87 Rnd3 Justin Scott
Justin Scott at the Round 3 slot is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick123 Rnd4 Jayce Brown
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Jayce Brown well ahead of where he belonged. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick159 Rnd5 Da'Shawn Womack
Da'Shawn Womack at No. 159 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick199 Rnd6 Jamari Sharpe
You do not let a cornerback like Jamari Sharpe reach the 199th overall pick and blink. They did not. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
