Spending an early pick on safety with edge rusher and tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Reaching for Maiava left real value on the table behind him. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
