Draft Grade — Cowboys
Overall

FutureB-
The Cowboys robbed the room for Baugh. Final grade: A-. You build a draft on nights like this. Jadan Baugh had no business being available in the Round 5 slot, and the Cowboys did the only sane thing and turned in the card.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
It is a haul that will look even better come September.
Pick Analysis
Pick2
Rnd1
Jeremiah Smith
In pick 2 they get a home-run threat at receiver. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick112
Rnd4
Zach Lutmer
Zach Lutmer in the Round 4 slot is fair value, right on his grade. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick150
Rnd5
Jadan Baugh
Jadan Baugh in the 150th pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It fills a real need, too.
Pick215
Rnd6
Blake Frazier
Blake Frazier in Round 6, Pick 36 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick221
Rnd7
Mark Nabou Jr.
Mark Nabou Jr. slipping to the 221st overall pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
