The Bengals spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Cayden Green, the No. 14 name on the board, in the Round 6 slot. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

Reaching for Carter Jr. left real value on the table behind him. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
