You build a draft on nights like this. King Mack had no business being available in the Round 6 slot, and the Buccaneers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Reaching for Lyons left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
