Somebody in pick No. 251 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Broncos sat still while Joenel Aguero, the No. 208 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They are betting Wilson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
