The Patriots spent real capital to be 158 picks early on Jahiem White, and the board is going to hold them to it. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

That Tengesdahl pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
