The Cowboys drew a line under the quarterback search with Manning: B.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Cowboys spent their marquee pick on Arch Manning, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

The Wilson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. Reaching for Curry left real value on the table behind him.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
