Overall D+
ValueF NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Giants for Moore: D+.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Jermaine Mathews Jr. at the 5th pick is 149 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. It grades a D+, and the process earned it.

Landing Moore that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.

Pick Analysis
Pick5 Rnd1 Jermaine Mathews Jr.
In the Round 1 slot they get a press-man option on the boundary, though the board says they badly overpaid.
Pick37 Rnd2 Nick Marsh
This one needs a full-page explanation: Nick Marsh in pick 37, miles early. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick105 Rnd4 Jacob Ponton
Jacob Ponton at the 105th overall pick is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick143 Rnd5 Terry Moore
Terry Moore in pick No. 143 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick185 Rnd6 Raleek Brown
Steal is underselling it; Raleek Brown at pick No. 185 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The roster fit checks out.
Pick190 Rnd6 Dante Moore
A top-tier quarterback at a bargain, Dante Moore in slot 190, plain and simple. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick191 Rnd6 Tree Babalade
A big swing on Tree Babalade at the 191st pick, well ahead of any board in the building. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
