The Bears went off the board in a big way for Patrick Payton, 57 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Haulcy pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at running back and quarterback.
