Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Riley Mahlman at No. 236 is 44 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. A D+ that will need time and luck to look better.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Smith value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
