TimBro59 DRAFTING FOR THEBrowns
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Browns
Overall

FutureB-
More right than wrong for the Browns, and a B- to prove it. The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Browns reached some 34 spots for Chase Bisontis, and value like that does not grow back. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
The skill positions did well by the weekend.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick6
Rnd1
Makai Lemon
In pick No. 6 they get a weapon on the perimeter at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick24
Rnd1
Denzel Boston
In No. 24 they get a matchup problem out wide. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick39
Rnd2
Emmanuel Pregnon
They took Emmanuel Pregnon at par in slot 39, which is nothing to complain about. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick70
Rnd3
Chase Bisontis
Chase Bisontis at pick 70 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick107
Rnd4
Jalon Kilgore
Jalon Kilgore in Round 4, Pick 7 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick139
Rnd5
Tanner Koziol
Tanner Koziol in the 139th overall pick is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It fills a real need, too.
Pick144
Rnd5
Davison Igbinosun
No drama and no debate, Davison Igbinosun went about where he belonged in pick No. 144. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick147
Rnd5
Pat Coogan
This one needs a full-page explanation: Pat Coogan in the 147th overall pick, miles early. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick204
Rnd6
Trey Zuhn III
Trey Zuhn III at No. 204 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. The roster fit checks out.
Pick248
Rnd7
Eric Gentry
Value said wait; Eric Gentry in the Round 7 slot says they were not listening. It adds depth where they could use a little.
