The Browns bet big and early on Jamari Lyons, 48 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

If Carnell Tate and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
