The Browns checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Browns reached some 24 spots for Pat Coogan, and value like that does not grow back.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Reese. They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
