If confidence were a draft strategy, the Texans would have aced it. Montravius Lloyd at Round 4, Pick 15 is 389 spots clear of where he belonged. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D+ is the result.

That Cooper Jr. pick is the receipt they will wave around later. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
