This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Eli Stowers, the No. 52 name on the board, stolen at No. 85.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with safety, edge rusher and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

If Davis pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain.

It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
