FutureF
The Harris reach set a tone the Seahawks could not shake: F. Somebody took the Seahawks to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.
Harris has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.
The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not. However the rest shakes out, Anderson at that price is a win they earned.
The verdict is harsh because the weekend was, and there is little to argue.
Pick Analysis
Pick4
Rnd1
Caleb Downs
In Round 1, Pick 4 they get a ballhawk on the back end at fair value.
Pick11
Rnd1
Anthony Hill Jr.
In No. 11 they get a sideline-to-sideline linebacker. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick41
Rnd2
Cayden Green
Cayden Green in the 41st pick is fair value, right on his grade. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick73
Rnd3
Malachi Fields
Malachi Fields in the Round 3 slot is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick150
Rnd5
Nic Anderson
They barely believed it either: Nic Anderson still on the board at slot 150. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick180
Rnd6
Miller Moss
Steal is underselling it; Miller Moss at the 180th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick189
Rnd6
Brett Norfleet
No edge and no loss on Brett Norfleet in pick 189; it is a wash and a sensible one. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick253
Rnd7
Michael Harris
A big swing on Michael Harris at pick No. 253, well ahead of any board in the building. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
