Draft Grade — Giants
Overall F
ValueF NeedB TradesF FutureB
The Giants jumped the board for Easter and paid for it: F.

The rest of the league had time to spare on Shamar Easter; the Giants did not wait, grabbing him 185 spots ahead at slot 34. The warnings were there, and the F is the bill.

That Roberts pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

There is no soft landing here; this class has to massively overperform just to matter.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Malik Muhammad
In the Round 1 slot they get an island corner, a steep price for the projection. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick34 Rnd2 Shamar Easter
They talked themselves into Shamar Easter at No. 34, and the board did not agree. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick35 Rnd2 Zachariah Branch
A real head-scratcher, Zachariah Branch in Round 2, Pick 3 is miles ahead of his ranking. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick102 Rnd4 Gracen Halton
They reached into another round for Gracen Halton, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick140 Rnd5 Jayden Limar
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Jayden Limar well ahead of where he belonged. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick153 Rnd5 Earnest Greene III
Earnest Greene III at the 153rd overall pick is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick183 Rnd6 Evan Stewart
They took Evan Stewart at par in the 183rd pick, which is nothing to complain about. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick192 Rnd6 Jaeden Roberts
Jaeden Roberts in No. 192 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick194 Rnd6 John Mateer
The board fumbled John Mateer all the way to slot 194, and they scooped it up. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
