The Commanders clearly saw something nobody else did in Jelani Thurman, taking him 239 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Claiborne. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.

Hit on T.J. Parker and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
