Jax728 DRAFTING FOR THEBroncos
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Broncos
Overall

FutureB-
More right than wrong for the Broncos, and a B- to prove it. Nobody else had Tim Keenan III anywhere near Round 4, Pick 8. The Broncos did, by 25 spots, and that gap is the whole story. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.
That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Anderson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick30
Rnd1
KC Concepcion
In slot 30 they get a go-to option on the outside at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick62
Rnd2
Max Klare
Max Klare at the 62nd overall pick nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick94
Rnd3
Jacob Rodriguez
Jacob Rodriguez in No. 94 is fair value, right on his grade. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick108
Rnd4
Tim Keenan III
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Tim Keenan III. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick130
Rnd4
DeMonte Capehart
DeMonte Capehart in pick No. 130 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick168
Rnd5
Aaron Anderson
The board had Aaron Anderson higher than the 168th pick, and the wide receiver fell to them anyway. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick246
Rnd7
Luke Hasz
A market-rate tight end, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Luke Hasz. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick251
Rnd7
Alex Harkey
No drama and no debate, Alex Harkey went about where he belonged in the Round 7 slot. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick255
Rnd7
Ja'Keem Jackson
By-the-book stuff, Ja'Keem Jackson at pick 255 squarely in line with his ranking. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
