Tyson should have been long gone. The Packers pounced, and earned a B.

The board owed the Packers one, and it paid up: Jordyn Tyson, the No. 11 name on the board, sitting there at Round 7, Pick 41 like a gift left on the doorstep. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The cost of the Bowles reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
