The steal of the weekend belongs to the Steelers and Hood: A-. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Steelers were there to profit. Colton Hood, the No. 69 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 4, Pick 38.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Every board in the league had Taylor lower, and that gap is the story. It is not that Tiernan is a bad player; it is that the Steelers had louder needs to answer first.
They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.
It is a haul that will look even better come September.
