The Steelers worked the phones like thieves and earned a A-. Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Steelers spent the 127th overall pick on DJ Campbell, a name most had 50 spots down the list.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will answer for taking offensive lineman early while edge rusher went begging.
They banked enough surplus on Hood to cover a lot of smaller sins. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Bottom line, with Elijah Sarratt leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
