Mendoza is the Steelers' new face under center. Grade: A-. The Steelers spent the pick that matters most on Fernando Mendoza, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.
If Coogan pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
On value alone, Robinson makes the weekend a net positive. The Campbell pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman and edge rusher still on the board.
In short, they turned a good board into a better roster, and it shows.
