Draft Grade — Titans
Overall D-
ValueB NeedC+ TradesF FutureC+
The phones sank the Titans this weekend: D-.

The Titans spent real capital to be 32 picks early on Alex Birchmeier, and the board is going to hold them to it.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Weigman pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.

Pick Analysis
Pick3 Rnd1 Caleb Downs
In pick 3 they get a two-high chess piece at fair value. Need was not the driver here.
Pick35 Rnd2 A.J. Harris
Nothing to complain about; A.J. Harris went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick59 Rnd2 Germie Bernard
A tidy little value on Germie Bernard in slot 59, a step better than break-even. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick103 Rnd4 Logan Jones
A slide stopped in the Round 4 slot, with Logan Jones worth more than the price. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick181 Rnd6 Alex Birchmeier
They talked themselves into Alex Birchmeier at the 181st overall pick, and the board did not agree. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick204 Rnd6 Conner Weigman
A top-tier quarterback at a bargain, Conner Weigman in Round 6, Pick 28, plain and simple. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
