Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall

FutureB-
The Ravens checked most of the boxes and earned a B-. The Ravens bet big and early on Jaleel Skinner, 132 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right.
The Williams value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick31
Rnd1
Cayden Green
In the 31st pick they get a building block for the line, even if it was a touch early. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick63
Rnd2
Rayshaun Benny
They paid sticker price for Rayshaun Benny in pick No. 63, and that is fine. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick95
Rnd3
Isaiah Nwokobia
No drama and no debate, Isaiah Nwokobia went about where he belonged in Round 3, Pick 31. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick131
Rnd4
Jacob Rodriguez
Jacob Rodriguez at slot 131 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick143
Rnd5
Nic Anderson
Nic Anderson at the Round 5 slot is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick170
Rnd5
Pat Coogan
A big swing on Pat Coogan at pick 170, well ahead of any board in the building. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick172
Rnd5
Fernando Carmona
Fernando Carmona at pick 172 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick175
Rnd5
Brett Norfleet
They talked themselves into Brett Norfleet at slot 175, and the board did not agree. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick244
Rnd7
Hykeem Williams
A wide receiver of that caliber at No. 244 is the definition of value, full stop. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick246
Rnd7
Jaleel Skinner
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Jaleel Skinner well ahead of where he belonged. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
