Nobody had Darius Taylor this high, and it is not close. The Dolphins reached 40 spots to get him at No. 84. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Jennings at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
