The Browns drew a line under the quarterback search with Klubnik: B.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Browns did exactly that with Michael Trigg in pick 224. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Whatever Cade Klubnik becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. However the rest shakes out, Sarratt at that price is a win they earned. They punted on safety, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

On the needs board they went 8 of 9, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
