Overall

FutureB-
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Bills: B-. They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Kamran James, 66 picks early at the Round 7 slot.
The Greathouse steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick Analysis
Pick38
Rnd2
CJ Allen
CJ Allen at pick 38 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick64
Rnd2
Darrell Jackson Jr.
Darrell Jackson Jr. at No. 64 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick96
Rnd3
Will Lee III
Will Lee III at pick No. 96 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick132
Rnd4
Evan Stewart
Nice patience on Evan Stewart, who had no business lasting to Round 4, Pick 30. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick145
Rnd5
Jaden Greathouse
Steal is underselling it; Jaden Greathouse at slot 145 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick171
Rnd5
Lawson Luckie
A wild overpay on Lawson Luckie in the 171st pick, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick217
Rnd7
Kamran James
They reached into another round for Kamran James, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick222
Rnd7
Jeremiah Cobb
They went early on Jeremiah Cobb in the 222nd pick, and the value did not follow. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
