You can usually follow a front office's logic. This one is harder. The Bengals spent the Round 3 slot on Cashius Howell while interior defensive lineman, linebacker and other spots sat unaddressed.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
