You could see the war room lean forward. A'Marion Peterson at No. 248 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. Every board in the league had Keenan III lower, and that gap is the story. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
