The Steelers cashed the board's mistake on Nussmeier: B-.

You build a draft on nights like this. Garrett Nussmeier had no business being available in the Round 4 slot, and the Steelers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They will need Smith to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with edge rusher, linebacker and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
