The steal of the weekend belongs to the Steelers and Slaughter: D.

The rest of the league had time to spare on Lee Hunter; the Steelers did not wait, grabbing him 32 spots ahead at the 182nd overall pick.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. With quarterback, edge rusher and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on offensive lineman is the choice that costs them.

The Slaughter pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
