Jaybeast17 DRAFTING FOR THEBroncos

Draft Grade — Broncos
Overall

FutureC+
The board sent warnings the Broncos ignored, and it shows: D. Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Stephiylan Green at the 123rd pick is 337 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.
The Delp steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
Pick Analysis
Pick20
Rnd1
Eugene Wilson III
In slot 20 they get a No. 1 receiver, a steep price for the projection.
Pick51
Rnd2
Tim Keenan III
A real head-scratcher, Tim Keenan III in pick 51 is miles ahead of his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick88
Rnd3
Ethan Onianwa
A wild overpay on Ethan Onianwa in the Round 3 slot, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick102
Rnd4
Anto Saka
A conviction pick on Anto Saka at Round 4, Pick 2 that the board grades a round light. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick123
Rnd4
Stephiylan Green
Stephiylan Green at No. 123 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick163
Rnd5
Hank Brown
They left a pile of value on the table to take Hank Brown this early at the 163rd overall pick. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick184
Rnd6
Smith Snowden
A big swing on Smith Snowden at the Round 6 slot, well ahead of any board in the building. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick253
Rnd7
Oscar Delp
They barely believed it either: Oscar Delp still on the board at the 253rd pick. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
