The phones sank the Dolphins this weekend: D+.

The Dolphins treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick 221 on Kalil Alexander a full 74 spots early.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want. They banked enough surplus on Payne to cover a lot of smaller sins.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
